  • Energy-saving "All-in-one" Compact Dryer

    The energy-saving compact dryers of Shini combine the functions of drying, dehumidifying and conveying into one single unit and make the full-automation of material processing all come true. The dryers adopt molecular sieve honeycomb rotors as the adsorbent which compare with the silica gel honeycomb rotors feature better performance of moisture absorption. With down-blowing structure of drying hopper, the drying air can be evenly spread from the bottom and dry the material quickly. Users can set the dew-point temperature based on the different material requirements or just select the material name and hourly dosage, the system will automatically control the operation, thus considerable power consumption can be saved and the energy utilization can be optimized. Also due to the automatic control of power, the plastic material can be prevented from overdrying and thereby the physical and mechanical properties can be maintained. In addition, heat exchangers are applied in this series dryer to realize heat recycle.

    Currently, most of the dehumidifying dryers can efficiently remove the moisture in the material with regeneration temperature maintains high, even when processing plastic materials requiring dew-point temperature not too low. Therefore, a lot of electricity is wasted. Moreover, when processing dosage reduces, traditional dehumidifying dryers will always stay at maximum load and the physical and mechanical properties of the material under processing can be reduced due to overdrying. Again, the damp and hot return air of the traditional dehumidifying dryers needs to be cooled to remove heat and the regeneration high temperature air is directly to the open air which caused the rising of ambient temperature. All in all, traditional dehumidifying dryers are wasting energy and not friendly to the environment.

    Features of Energy-saving Compact Dryers of Shini:
    Firstly: with dew-point temperature settable function, users can set the dew-point temperature according to the actual needs to control the regeneration temperature of the honeycomb rotor, thus rational utilization of energy can be achieved.

    Secondly: with drying capacity formula function, by setting the name and hourly dosage of plastic material, the frequency converter controls the power of the blower to in succession control the drying air quantity which effectively controls the power consumption and saves energy. Also it can prevent material overdrying and maintain the physical and mechanical properties of the material.

    Thirdly: with heat exchanger to recycle thermal energy. Made of the high-quality aluminum, the efficiency of heat exchanger can reach 70%. Installed in the regeneration system, the regeneration air is heated by the high temperature exhaust air in the exchanger and the power needed to heat up refill regeneration air can be reduced. When it is installed in the drying system, the high temperature return air and low temperature drying air exchange heat in the exchanger and reduces the power consumption which is needed to heat up the drying air.

    Fourthly: with molecular sieve honeycomb rotor which contains two areas, namely: dehumidifying and regeneration area. Compared by silica gel honeycomb rotor which consists of dehumidifying, cooling and regeneration areas, the new rotor can provide much lower dew-point temperature and larger air quantity and higher air pressure.
